Toronto Blue Jays – Top 5 Prospects for the 2010 Fantasy Baseball Season. Rankings are based on a Prospects potential to make a fantasy baseball impact during the 2010 season.
#1 – Brett Wallace – 3B/1B – Age: 23
As one of the top power hitting prospects in all of baseball, Wallace exceeded expectations in just his second pro season, as he forced himself all the way up to Triple-A for the majority of the 2009 season. Acquired as one of the main pieces in the Roy Halladay trade, Wallace who had been playing 3B over his career, will likely make a position switch to 1B for the Blue Jays during the 2010 season. With the aging and somewhat offensively unproductive Lyle Overbay currently starting at 1B, Wallace should see playing time at that position during the 2010 season.
