#1 – Dustin Ackley – 2B/OF – Age: 22
 
The second overall pick in the 2009 draft, Ackley is a polished college player who is a three-time All-American. With a major league ready bat that could one day earn Ackley a batting title, the biggest question surrounding Ackley entering the 2010 season is what position he will play. The Mariners are expected to give Ackley a reasonable chance at playing second base, with an corner outfield spot a possibility as well. If injuries knock down any of the Mariners starters in the infield or outfield, Ackley will be one of the first in line to see playing time.
