2011-2012 Rookies: Shooting Guard (SG)

Shooting Guard (SG) Rookies – Top 3

2011-2012 Shooting Guard (SG) Rookies for the 2011-2012 Fantasy Basketball season are based on a standard single season redraft fantasy basketball leagues. Scoring setting include: FG%, FT%, 3PT, PTS, REBS, ASTS, STLS, TO. Each players fantasy basketball position eligibility is listed after their name, with pg meaning the player is eligible at point guard, and pg/sg meaning the player is eligible at both point guard and shooting guard, and sg/sf meaning the player is eligible at both shooting guard and small forward.

Jimmer Fredette – Sac – pg/sg

As a four year college player, Fredette is a proven scoring threat whenever he steps onto the court. Unfortunately the guard position in Sacramento is filled with two other high scoring options in Tyreke Evans and Marcus Thornton to begin the 2011-2012 season. However there should still be a good chunk of minutes to go around for Fredette to soak up around 20-25 minutes per game as a player off the bench. With this in mind, Fredette easily has the potential to become a huge source of three pointers for fantasy basketball teams this season.

2010-2011 College Stats: 45.2 fg% — 28.9 ppg — 3.4 3pt — 3.4 reb — 4.3 ast — 1.3 stl — 0.0 blk

2011-2012 Projected Stats: 45 fg% — 12.0 ppg — 2.0 3pt — 2.0 reb — 2.5 ast — 1.0 stl — 0.0 blk
