ABOUT

Welcome to Hawk Fantasy Sports.  They call me Hawk Michaels.  I am the creator and writer here at Hawk Fantasy Sports.  I started this blog back during the 2008 NFL season, and have been writing fantasy football and fantasy baseball articles ever since.  My articles are focused on player position rankings, rookies, sleepers, breakout players, busts, and a few more topics that are helpful in fantasy leagues.

With 13 years of fantasy sports experience, there is no doubt in my mind that no matter how much experience and knowledge we have, we really can never have enough opinions and comments in our repertoire when fantasy sports are involved.  So with this in mind, my articles and rankings are meant to be used as a measure of opinion that you can combine with your own opinion to form some of the best knowledge for you and your fantasy team.

So join in, share your opinions, and feel free to comment on any of the articles here.

Thanks for checking out Hawk Fantasy Sports, and hopefully some of these blog articles and tips can help you win your fantasy league championship!

  1. Hey hawk im in a fantasy league and im having some doubts about my lineup for week 3, can you email me so maybe you can help me out. Thanks

  2. hey Michael, first off thanks for checking out the site. and secondly, all my rankings (including the tiers) are based on how i really feel about each players potential for this year. so yeah, i do think you can use these rankings at your draft to make the right decisions on who to pick at each position.

and you’re right, i do agree on your notion about espn, yahoo and cbs. hopefully my rankings can give a little different take then what those ‘pros’ say at those sites.

  3. Hey, in advance, thank you for the detailed info on this years upcoming draft. I am still a bit “wet behind the ears” as fasr as fantasy goes, this being my second year doing baseball and football. I am in a standard 12 team mixed league.

Is it safe to use your tiers/rankings as a guideline for me to base my picks off of? I know its not written in stone and this info is more for my basic knowledge in which I should make my actual draft choices based on my gut feeling and personal knowledge but I am looking for a solid source for fantasy insight and I dont feel that espn, yahoo, cbs is always giving solid info, that is unbias and unsckewed.

    Thank you,

  4. Newsletter or are you just doing a website. underdogs (you can call me A.J.) one of many out there. I do research in Fantasy Football every year and I look at many different ideas and thoughts. I HAVE WON LEAGUES IN Yahoo, Fox and APL Flea Flicker. I have also fell on my** with some of the other teams in those venues so there is never too much info. I am a cheapskate so I use all the free information available. It looks like it is working a little bit!. So far I have a few (not many) disagreements with your observations, but hey that’s what this is all about. Talk to you later
